Pastor Terry Price was cultivated for ministry under the guidance of Pastor Leroy Elliott, who helped nurture the calling God placed on his life. He attended the Chicago Baptist Institute (CBI), where he earned a Certificate of Completion in "Know Your Bible." Pastor Price continued his development in ministry under the leadership of Dr. Leroy Elliott at New Greater St. John. He later served faithfully as a minister under Pastor Warner J. Pitts at St. James Industrial Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois.

In 2018, Pastor Price was called to Twelve Gates Missionary Baptist Church to assist Dr. Anthony P. Randall. In 2019, God revealed to Dr. Randall that Pastor Price was chosen to become the next shepherd of Twelve Gates MBC. Though he initially declined the call three times, Pastor Price eventually accepted his divine assignment from God. On June 19, 2019, he was officially installed as Pastor of Twelve Gates Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor Price’s ultimate goal is to follow God’s Plan, God’s Provision, and God’s Purpose. He considers his greatest achievement to be coming into the full knowledge of Jesus Christ.
